Genéa Gaudet is a Canadian/American director, editor and writer.

Her film and video work has been screened on PBS and HBO, as well as film festivals nationally and internationally. Projects include:

As a freelance director and editor, Genéa's primary clients include Metcom Studios, Cosmic Pictures, and Ron Hill Imagery in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has edited national commercials for GE Healthcare, The Foundation for a Better Life, Melaleuca, the University of Utah, and Western Governor’s University. She has directed work for Isagenix, Feature Films for Families, the Salt City Derby Girls, and a music video for the band Spörk.

She is also an adjunct professor at Westminster College, teaching film studies.

Genéa holds Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and English (Utah State University) and is a Master of Fine Arts in Film Studies (University of Utah). As a journalist, her work has appeared in The Salt Lake City Weekly, The Salt Lake Tribune and The Herald Journal in Logan, Utah. In 2003, Genéa started Girlfight Pictures.

She is a mother to an incredible daughter and plays roller derby under the pseudo-name Nico Noir.
